Overview
This 4-day Kafue Bush Break features the central part of the vast Kafue National Park. It’s only a 4 hours drive away from Lusaka and you are in the pristine wilderness. Lions, leopards, cheetahs and even wild dogs can be seen here not to forget the big herbivores, like elephants and buffaloes.
Itinerary
We will meet at 7:00 am at your accommodation in Lusaka, have a briefing, and start our safari to the central part of the Kafue National Park. If needed, we can do some final shopping before we hit the road. It’s tar road up to Chunga Gate. We will register with the parks authority and from there it is a game drive until we reach our destination for the day; Kasabushi Camp.
After an early breakfast, we will start our morning game drive and explore the Chunga area. We will return for lunch at the camp, have siesta and head out for the afternoon game drive at around 3:30 pm. Animals that are found in this area include sable, roan, lion, cheetah, leopard to mention but a few.
After an early breakfast, we will pack up and drive back to Lusaka. The Kafue Bush Break ends at a place of your choice in Lusaka. Please talk to us about further travel arrangements.
